Hello lovely readers and followers. I know…I’ve been absent for some while. Lots have happened in the Brixham household. Firstly, my husband of many years passed away. His failing heart finally caught up with him. And then, this year my little bestie also lost her battle with her enlarged heart. Sad. Absolutely. Adjusting? Yes, I sure am trying my best. So I thought I’d share some pics of my furry besties – all girls – that have shared my life for several years. Now all have passed over the rainbow bridge, but, for me – photos mean happy memories. Memories I’d like to share with you all today.
Meet Daisy-Mae. Isn’t she a cutie-pie. Sadly lost her battle with an enlarged heart in April. She fell asleep in my arms at the vet hospital and doesn’t even know she’s not here. Fast asleep dreaming her forever dreams…forever.

Lucy and Rosie Cocker Spaniel. Both I bought as pups. I never heard of adopting a dog back then. Happy girls who each lived to a whopping 15 years. Here’s a few – I lie – a lot of photos of my dearest girls.

I miss these girls every day. Am I looking for a bestie? I hear you ask. Well, Daisy-Mae, I adopted. So yes… ‘adopt don’t shop’ is my motto.
Tell me your thoughts…
